"Do not feed people everyday with the fish, but instead make them learn how to fish for themselves". This is what Shanti Foundation tries to build a sense of learning & earning by teaching. Indian women are not the same as they were a decade before. India has always been a well known country for its poverty and the inspiring story of a poor boy who overcomes all odds to make a million. Most of the People live below the poverty line and lack necessary, basic rights. But the reality is quite different. But let's not forget that India also is well known for its culture and helping attitude rendered towards the neediest people. Shanti Foundation's basic aim is to make girls & women self independent so that they can earn their livelihood by providing them quality education.

Shanti Foundation aims to promote girl rights and improve the quality of life of vulnerable children through constant support and co-operation for making them self-sufficient.

We provide necessary support and co-operation for their marriage programs to make them aware of the happiness that they need.

About the Founder and Chairman

Dinesh Agrawal is the founding Executive Director of the Shanti foundation (NGO), Mumbai (India). He is in Finance business a young professional truly aware with the social responsibility, zealous Dinesh Agrawal running this organization since 2001 which is named on his late mother
